Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): for anxiety, depression, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, insomnia, substance use disorders, and more.

Often time people say 'I've tried CBT and it didn't work.' It's something we hear often. In many cases that doesn't mean that CBT isn't effective, it means the treatment you received wasn't skillfully tailored to your needs. Effective CBT is more than worksheets or simply "thinking positive." It is an active, collaborative, and clear approach that helps identify the patterns driving distress and teaches practical skills to create lasting change. Our approach is goal-oriented, personalized, and designed to help you make meaningful progress as efficiently as possible.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT): for trauma, mood, and personality disorders

DBT helps people build mindfulness, regulate intense emotions, tolerate distress, and improve relationships. DBT has become one of the most effective treatments for emotional dysregulation, impulsive or destructive behaviors (including self-harming and suicidality behaviors). DBT is also considered one of the first line treatments for trauma.

DBT allows you greater choice and control over your emotions, behaviors, and relationship choices. For the appropriate client, our clinicians can integrate evidence-based DBT skills into individual therapy using an active, highly directive approach. While we do not offer comprehensive DBT programs that include phone coaching or consultation teams, we do provide structured, individualized DBT skills training tailored to your needs.

Motivational Interviewing (MI): for changing unhelpful behaviors (smoking, substance use, sugar addiction, overeating, not exercising, etc.)

Have you ever told yourself, "Just quit smoking." "Stop procrastinating." "Just try harder." Yet somehow, nothing changes?

That's because lasting change doesn't happen through willpower alone. It happens when your actions become aligned with your own values and motivations. Motivational Interviewing is an evidence-based approach that helps resolve ambivalence and strengthen your own motivation for change. Whether you're trying to reduce substance use, improve your health, manage a mental health condition, or make another meaningful life change, we'll help you clarify what matters most, explore what's getting in the way, and develop a plan that motivates YOU (not anyone else!).

Circle of Security® (COS) Parenting: ideal for parents of children up to age 12, however research has show it can be effective for parents of children all ages.

Tantrums, meltdowns, clinginess, and big emotions can leave even the most patient parents wondering, "What does my child need from me right now?".

With a registered Circle of Security Parenting™ facilitator, we help caregivers better understand their child's emotional and attachment needs. This evidence-based program provides practical tools to recognize what children are communicating through their behavior, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and respond with greater confidence during everyday parenting challenges. COS is great for all types of caregivers, including coparenting arrangements. COS is internationally recognized as an effective attachment-based parenting program, one that focuses on communication and connection, allowing for a culturally-informed model.

Our approach is simple: we rely on evidence-based therapies to help you build skills, solve problems,
and make measurable progress toward your goals.
We don't believe in talking in circles or relying on one-size-fits-all approaches.
